01PLANNING GUIDE
Renovation quotes for the same job can differ widely, and the lowest is often the least complete. Comparing them properly means making sure each one prices the same work before looking at the totals.

Tell us the project once. We match you with vetted contractors who quote itemised against the same scope.
Request matched quotesOr message us on WhatsAppQuotes can only be compared if they answer the same question. A written brief with room-by-room scope, the finishes you want, and drawings or photos makes the quotes comparable. Where you have not chosen a finish, ask every contractor to use the same allowance so the difference does not hide in assumptions.
An itemised quote shows what is included: strip-out, waste removal, waterproofing, electrical and plumbing work, finishes, protection and cleaning. Lay the quotes side by side and mark anything one includes that another does not. Missing lines are not savings; they are costs that will appear as variations later.
Compare the payment schedule, how variations will be priced, the programme, what warranty terms are offered and who will supervise the work. A contractor who asks good questions during the site visit and explains their assumptions is often a safer choice than the cheapest number.
