01FLOORING INSTALLATION
Porcelain is the workhorse of Dubai flooring: hard, cool, stain-resistant and available in convincing stone, concrete and wood looks. Large formats reduce grout lines for a calm, seamless floor — and they demand a flat base and careful laying.

Request a flooring quoteOr message us on WhatsAppFewer joints mean a floor that looks more like a continuous surface and is easier to keep clean. In open-plan living areas, large tiles laid in one direction make the space feel larger. Rectified edges allow very fine joints.
The larger the tile, the more any unevenness in the screed shows as lippage — one tile edge sitting higher than the next. Large formats need a very flat screed, full adhesive coverage on both the floor and the tile back, and levelling clips during laying. These steps add time and are worth paying for.
Setting out the floor before laying decides where cuts fall — ideally under furniture or at walls, never as thin slivers at doorways. Movement joints are needed in large areas and at thresholds. Ordering enough tiles from one batch, plus spares, avoids shade differences.
